SIGMA ANNUAL MEETING SPEAKER RANKS IN
TOP TEN OF THE FORBES “100 MOST POWERFUL WOMEN” LIST
Patricia Woertz Will Speak During 2007 Annual Meeting General Session
|
WASHINGTON, D.C. September 27, 2007 The Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) is extremely pleased to announce that President, Chairman and CEO of Archer Daniels Midland Company Patricia Woertz, and speaker at this year’s Annual Meeting in Boston, MA, has been ranked in the top 10 on the Forbes list of “The 100 Most Powerful Women.”
Woertz captured the #8 spot, out-ranking Oprah Winfrey, Queen Elizabeth II, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Nancy Pelosi, to name a few. This type of recognition is commonplace for Woertz. In 2006, Fortune Magazine identified her as one of the 25 most influential leaders of the year for her position as CEO of the world’s largest producer of ethanol.
Woertz will address “Our Energy Future” at the Annual Business Meeting & General Session at SIGMA’s 49th Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 14, 2007 at the Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts.
