SIGMA SIGs are about people. You interact with a small group of peers to learn from one another, confidentially, in an unrestricted and supportive environment. SIGs are the antidote to the mass-meeting, everybody’s-a-number, statistical approach to problem-solving. It’s simple. SIGs are a personal forum for peer-to-peer learning.
SIGMA SIGs maximize one of the most important benefits SIGMA already offers members: the ability to interact and "network" with others who are in similar businesses.
- SIGMA SIGs are designed to provide motor fuel marketers with the opportunity to meet and learn from other non-competing marketers with similar interests.
- While other organizations have created similar programs for corporate executives, they are usually multi-industry, local, and high-cost. SIGMA SIGs are focused on motor fuel marketing, national in scope, and economically priced.
- SIGMA SIGs will be member-run. Members of each SIG will decide when and where to meet and what topics to discuss. SIGMA staff will provide administrative services, so members can focus on content rather than on process.
Build one-to-one professional relationships!

SIGMA SIGs are different from others you may have heard about. There is no obligation to continue. You can quit anytime.
SIGMA SIGs focus on you. There are no speakers or pre-set agendas, unless you want them. Each meeting is designed by you and your fellow SIG members. Each group develops its own personality based on the needs of the members. SIGMA SIGs are small and intimate, which encourages frank and open exchange. And, SIGMA SIGs meet where you want and when you want!
ITo reap the benefits of this exceptional SIGMA program, join a SIG by contacting Marilyn Selvitelle at 703-375-0485, or email mselvitelle@sigma.org
