SIGMA 50th Anniversary

SIGMA 2008 Spring Convention

CARD LOCK/FLEET FUELING FORUM

This is a subcommittee dealing with the complex and technical issues affecting commercial fleet fueling. Its purpose is to gather, summarize and disseminate technical information.

The subcommittee is a resource for explaining the impact on fleet fuel marketers of various governmental proposals.  The committee works with counsel on what marketers can and cannot live with, plus what members would consider reasonable and/or desirable.

The subcommittee is responsible for stimulating contacts between fleet card providers and SIGMA's marketer members.  The subcommittee is responsible for the overall programs that bring fleet card providers together with members through programs, recognition, associate membership and other activities.

The subcommittee, working closely with staff, encourages fleet card providers to attend SIGMA's meetings.  The subcommittee serves as a Forum for fleet card providers to comment on the direction of SIGMA.  The subcommittee monitors policy relating to this type of associate membership and recommends needed changes to the Board.
